It gives me a great honor and pleasure to invite you to the
7th Jeddah Psychiatric Symposium.
Jeddah is the cosmopolitan capital of Saudi Arabia’s Western
Province and the gate to visitors of the two Holly Mosques in
Makkah and Madinah. This symposium is very special as it is
jointly organized by our organization (Dr.
Erfan & Bagedo Hospital) with its almost 40 years history
of contribution to the mental health service in Saudi Arabia,
The Saudi Psychiatric Association (SPA)
under the presidency of Dr. Mahdy Al Qahtani and The
British Arab Psychiatric Association (BAPA)
under the presidency of Dr. Saleh El Hilu with its expertise.
The choice of theme “Arab Psychiatrists
across the Globe: towards an Integrated Approach for
Psychological Well Being” reflects the desire and need of
experts in the field to work together to address the overdue
issues of Arab psychological wellbeing. We aim to build bridges
of cooperation and establish networks between Arab Psychiatrists
across the globe.
In our three day symposium you will enjoy the academic, social &
spiritual aspects of the program. In addition you will
