Continuous Medical Education

Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs involve all consultants and registrars in the hospital and are under the guidance of the CME committee. The Committee is formed by a group of senior consultants who have a long experience in medical education and published several papers in domestic and international Journals, and presented lectures on world wide basis.

The aim of the committee is to assure that the hospital staff continues to enjoy a high standard in medical knowledge. This is achieved by weekly HGR (Hospital Grand Round), specialized departmental scientific meeting and international Periodic Symposia. A minimum of seven symposia are presented yearly for which distinguished International and Domestic speakers are invited to participate with the hospital consultants.  

All CME programs are accredited by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties and under their guidance

The committee also created a central Library and subscribed to various medical websites on the internet in order to allow hospital’s staff to get access to most recent advances in medicine through the library’s several computers.
